IRF Coastal rowing boat in Israeli customs

Chairman of Israeli Rowing Federation Ram Golombig says the coastal rowing boats purchased by the IRF in order to promote the sport in Israel are already here in Israel and are undergoing customs release procedures. Coastal rowing is heavily promoted by FISA. Due to the long coastal line in Israel and and lack of lakes and rivers, it is deemed very suitable for the local conditions.

 
Some of the 8 boats purchased by the IRF are destined to be lent to each of the Israeli rowing clubs to accelerate the adaptation amongst current academic rowers.
